Sunday 29th September - Pitching your work

At Wordfest in Shoreham, Ropetackle, 1.30-2.45pm, £10. Prepare a compelling pitch, and write a great synopsis/covering letter. With Laura Wilkinson. More details here.

Sunday 29th September - Reduced-cost surgeries

I'm offering half-hour one-to-one sessions for writers at any stage of their work, to talk through where they're at, plan how to get to where they want to be, and trouble-shoot any difficulties. At Wordfest in Shoreham, venue tba, six slots between 3.15pm and 6.15pm. Reduced price is £20 per half-hour. More details to follow.

November 18th - 23rd: Arvon fiction course

Inspiration is harder to come by in the middle of writing a novel than at the beginning or the end. This course is aimed at anyone who has a piece of fiction underway. At Lumb Bank. Course tutors: James Scudamore, Beth Miller. Guest tutor: Sarah Moss.
